【Pharmacological Effects】
Pharmacodynamics Timicox is a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic for animals. Strong against Mycoplasma, antibacterial effect is similar to Tylosin, sensitive Gram-positive bacteria are Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), pneumococcus, streptococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Escherichia coli, Lis Special bacteria, Clostridium spoilage, Clostridium anthracis, etc. Sensitive Gram-negative bacteria include Haemophilus, Meningococcus, Pasteurella, etc. It is more active against Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella and Mycoplasma in livestock than Tylosin. 95% of the hemolytic Pasteurella strains are sensitive to this product.
Pharmacokinetics After oral administration, the absorption is rapid, the tissue penetration is strong, and the distribution volume is large (greater than 2L / kg). The concentration in the lung is high, the elimination half-life can reach 1 to 2 days, and the effective blood drug concentration is maintained for a long time.
【Drug Interactions】
(1) The combination of this product and adrenaline can increase the death of pigs.
(2) It should not be used at the same time as other macrolides and lincomines.
(3) Combined with β- lactams, it showed antagonistic effect.

【Adverse Reactions】
(1) The toxic effect of this product on animals is mainly cardiovascular system, which can cause tachycardia and decrease contractility.
(2) Dose dependent gastrointestinal disorders, such as vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and so on, often occur after oral administration.
